Associate Manager, Distributor Management Southern Africa Export Markets

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our export markets team at SC Johnson. As an Associate Manager you will manage selective RSA Export Markets including Mauritius, Botswana, Namibia, DRC, Angola, PnP/SCH Export, by building in country relationships with distributors with the goal of implementing a comprehensive JBP which will deliver KPI’s (which include Nett Sales , IMS Growth, Delivered Profit Targets, Distribution Targets, Forecast Accuracy and Manage in Market Stock on Hand.)Operational deliverables will include implementing company objectives, such as Perfect store, FWD Share objectives, FOCO Execution, Price Increases and NPD launches.

Input into strategic direction for the markets.
Implementation and coordination of the agreed strategies, including distribution plans, advertising, promotional and trade spend strategies.
Maintenance and update of the SCJ Global Scorecard for each country.
Monitoring, update and analyses of the Distributor Value Chain.
Execution of Demand Planning Forecast for each country.
Execution of Perfect Stores.
Full Accountability of the Country PnL Objectives (which include GTN,DPM and NS Management)

Matric plus tertiary education preferably a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification with some Business or Marketing Management
At least 5 years Sales Management experience in FMCG environment (preferably with a Multi-national company)
Field Work, Key Accounts and Agent/Distributor interaction
Minimum 2 year experience in Export with understanding of Southern Africa Export markets (Preferable but not essential).
Technical Skills: Fully computer literate in MS Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Good Understanding of Business system such as SAP.
Strategic mind set, understands the strategic & tactical nature of the business.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines
Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills with strong stakeholder management and cross-functionality experience
Ability to work independently and to strict deadlines with a sense of ownership, drive and can-do attitude
