Full Job Description


To manage and control stock in the Card Personalisation Division of within ACS


Stock Control

Management and processing of stock orders
Timely completion of GRVs (Goods Received Vouchers)
Management and re-ordering of spares
Offsite stock control management


Order Processing

Receive delivery note instruction from the Sales Administrator and pack according to those instructions
Ascertain if the customer is collecting or if shipment needs to be organised
Arrange for either collection or delivery
Book the stock into the relevant bins in the warehouse
The associated bin card needs to be updated accordingly
The physical quantity and the recording on the bin cards need to match
Preparation & shipment of key customer account goods (e.g. African bank)
Label, seal and courier customer good and dispatch to branches

Good Receiving

Once goods have been received from suppliers, stock needs to be checked
GRV (Goods Received Vouchers) need to be complete
Book goods received into the warehouse
Receive stock and capture it on the GRV
Book the stock into the relevant bins in the warehouse
The associated bin card needs to be updated accordingly
The physical quantity and the recording on the bins cards need to match

Spares Issuance

Receive Spares Requisition Form from the Technicians
Issue the stock and update the bin cards
Ensure that minimum order quantities are adhered to (because of high movement items)
Ensure that spares usage file is updated, reflecting the re-order quantities
Receive Technical Service Report from Technician and reconcile daily
The spares must be reconciled in the bin cards, TSR and the system
Only the Stock Controller is allowed to issue the stock during the day
From 17h00 onwards the Technicians are allowed to book out spares
Check for afterhours stock movement and reconcile appropriately

Offsite Stock Management

Manage the FNB warehouse
Receive Spares Requisition Form from the Technicians
Here the stock controller needs to ensure that technicians have taken the required stock and updated the bin cards
Conduct spot checks on the bins
Complete cycle counts every month
Manage stock take and ensure that quantities and ERP (Syspro) quantities balances
