Siqalo Foods is seeking a skilled NAM Assistant to join our Customer Team in Westville. The role will report into the National Account Manager for Shoprite. Siqalo Foods is looking for a decisive, efficient and innovative individual with an FMCG background in Account Management support. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the National Account Manager in the smooth running of a portfolio of accounts, proactively manage all administrative tasks in a timely and anticipatory manner to ensure that both internal and external customer needs are fully met, control all aspects of point of material ordering and supply for the portfolio of accounts, manage developing accounts across all RCL FOODS product categories and revenueDuties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the NAM Assistant is to support the National Account Manager (NAM) on all day to day operational, analytical and strategic activities involved in managing a Retail Account. This includes but is not limited to: • Tracking and analysis of sales and market performance. • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Business Reviews. • Supporting the NAM in developing annual Customer Business Plans. • Developing a strong understanding of the FMCG industry as well as relevant Retail accounts, categories and brands. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. • Support the NAM in creating and reviewing volume forecasts. • Supporting the NAM in delivering the required Perfect Store and Operational Execution standards. • Management of all Customer Stock queries and order/delivery queries. • Support the NAM in landing and executing all Innovation and Category Activation Plans/Drives. • Drive Commercial Excellence by supporting the NAM in tracking and analyzing Customer Spend Return On Investment as well as Growth Hurdle and Trading Terms Tracking. Marketing and sales degree or diploma 2 years experience in a similar role within FMCG or other industry Not required but beneficial: Sales Rep or other customer callage/service experience Strong on MS Office suite Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP system
