Position Purpose:
To render an administrative support service to the NRE Vehicle & Facility maintenance function within the Technical
Department.
Position outputs:
Manage the document control within the PM department pertaining to the following:
Filling of SMO1, SMO2 and SMO5.
Print and issue of SMO5.
Provide administrative support to ensure compliants with regards to road worthiness, Licence renewal and registration.
Preform all administrative functions around NRE vehicle documentation including:
Vehicle tracking
Incident/ Damage reports


Tracking of warranty repair/replacement items.
Issue,collect and scrutinize Trip Authority Numbers, vehicle trip log sheets, fuel consumption data and daily task records to /
from personnel authorized to drive company vehicles to assist them in performing their duties.Issue of notifications to the various NRE fleet owners for the by-monthly NRE vehicle inspections.
Update and issue NRE vehicle inspection report.
Sort and file all technical correspondence to ensure it is available as records and for audit purposes.
Administrate fuel card usage and related costs by controlling the following and ensuring that nominated fuel sites are being
used:
ordering of fuel cards,
discarding obsolete cards,
Capture minutes of meetings and distribute copies to all concerned
Scheduling the execution of scheduled maintenance and repairs (NRE vehicles).
Assist in the compiling of weekly and monthly feedback reports and presentations.
Provide administrative assistance in the process all vehicle disposal requests in compliance with delegations of authority,
asset lifecycle management plans and departmental objectives.
Preform the administrative function with regards to implementation and application of AARTO procedures and processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Matric
Computer literate
Maintenance / Service control system experience
3 Years relevant experience. (administration)
