Our client in the FMCG Manufacturing field is looking to fill an exciting position for an Exports Controller located in Nigel, Springs.
The purpose of this position is to ensure that export data relating to all export activities are accurately recorded. The role ensures that export data is maintained thereby ensuring INCO TERMS & legislative export compliance as well as minimizing risk and loss for the company. This role acts as the point of contact between the company, employees and suppliers for all customer related queries.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Compliance to company Mission statement, Value statement and CIP (Continuous Improvement Processes) as part of integrated key tasks.
Exports Controller – Daily operations, admin process, cost and provisions from production to final shipment to destination.
Export Expenses – Write out Purchase Orders & Recons
Send Purchase Order Numbers to the relevant service providers.
Process PRN’s for exports services received.
Check stack dates (daily) on Transnet Website and update exports coordinator
Update spreadsheet with PO Numbers, Vessel Names, Booking Ref#, Stack Dates, etc.
Insert new orders into the spreadsheet and update
Update Exports Schedule and send to Exports Sales Manager and All Mills
Book in Trucks at the relevant loading Mills
Download all orders and loads via smartlist and send to Exports Coordinator for reconciliation
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Min 3-5 years’ experience in creditors and export operations
Strong Admin Skills
Computer Literate in Excel, Word, Great Plains (advantageous)
